CD 20 ~ 4 dpo Cramping & Sneezing

As you can see, my chart is looking decent - not really any different from my previous charts but as long as my temp is above the coverline it's all good!

So I'm 4dpo today.  I must admit I actually feel very positive and optimistic today about my chances.  I've had a runny/stuffy nose, been somewhat emotional and mood swingy today.  Probably the biggest "clue" to analyze is that I've had off and on AF-like cramps all day.  Having them now too only it feels more right sided tonight whereas earlier today it was more central like AF usually is.  I think it's a couple days too soon for implantation, but science knows so very little still about the process, that it's hard to say.  Some implant sooner, some later.  And they say the actual implantation process can take 2-3 days too, so who's to say mine didn't start today?  

Google was not really much help.  Half the internet is convinced there is 100% no chance of having pregnancy symptoms until after implantation.  Ok except what about hcg-h the hormone variant that's known to be present from implantation?  What about EPF, another hormone that has been scientifically proven to be present in humans from the very day of fertilization - aka O day (or 1dpo)?  It's not junk science folks - it's just that it's still being researched.  There is even a test that measures EPF - it's just not available to the general public.  

And it's not that I would even WANT to know that soon really, knowing how many women have fertilized eggs that never implant or attempt to but fail.  This is apparently very common but most women don't even realize they ever were pregnant or had an egg fertilized at least.  

So my point is, I get really annoyed seeing forum posts where people knock someone's early symptoms by saying (sometimes in a snippy tone) that it's "impossible".  Unless that person has a degree in reproductive medicine, I don't think they're qualified to weigh in on something with such certainty.  If you want to say "to my knowledge..." or maybe "in my opinion...." that's one thing. But don't act like you are smart and the rest of us are idiots.  When in fact, it's the other way around.

So aside from the cramping (really unusual), runny and stuffy nose (typical), moodiness (unusual for 4dpo), I also have somewhat sore and tingly boobs (unusual for this early), and a headache that came on just as I was typing this, there's not much else to report.

The cramping and over feeling of "this is it" are probably my biggest indicators that something is different.  Maybe it's wishful thinking but I don't think so.  If I had to give my chances a number out of 10 I would say I'm at a good, solid 7 today.

Almost fell asleep typing this lol.  I know I'll get my rainbow but I'm soooo impatient!

  • Bloating
  • Cramps (light AF-like, twinges, sharp stabs)
  • Flushed face
  • Frequent urination (excessive thirst)
  • Increased sex drive
  • Irritability
  • Loose stools
  • Nausea (very brief after eating)
  • Runny/stuffy nose and sneezing
  • Sore breasts (tingly)
  • Yeast Infection (Monistat)
  • Increased CM (watery)
  • Heightened sense of smell (burning/smoke)
  • Emotional (major swings)
  • Cravings (PB&J)
  • EWCM on tissue after BM
  • Deja vu a few times
  • Sleepy and kept nodding off and having bizarre dreams

    CD 17 & 18 ~ 1 & 2 dpo Just Ovulated!

    I'm 2dpo today (April 21st, 2017).  I began this cycle on April 4th (my 3rd PP cycle).  I ovulated a day or two earlier than my usual, which could be due to some fertility supplement I'm taking - which I'll go into detail about in a future post. Here's my positive OPK progression:   My test on CD 15 around 1pm was the first one I considered positive, but then my 8pm test as well as my CD 16 tests were also positive.  My most positive test was on CD 16 around noon.  This is the only one where the test line was darker than the control line, though not dramatically so.  This is what I would consider to be my peak day, also the last day of ewcm and the day I felt ovulation pain (around 6-7pm that day).  I don't always feel O pains, but they were very prominent this month and on the right ovary. This is my chart as of today (2dpo):   I'm hoping to see my crosshairs tomorrow at 3dpo!  This is the best looking chart I've had yet - which gives me hop...

    Cycle #5 ~ 10 dpo

      Ugh.  That's the only word I can use for today.  BFN Wondfo and FRER with FMU.  Like not even a hint of a line.  I really feel like this is the end of the line and AF will be here by Sunday (12dpo), Monday at the latest.  I'm just so fed up with it all, and when I get to this point in my cycle where I've realized the chances of a BFP are slim to none, I just think...ok let's just get on with it then.  I know they say 10 dpo is still really early but it's actually not.  Not when you have pregnancy tests that pick up extremely low levels of hcg.  And yes some don't get bfp until 11, 12 dpo or even later but they're the exception, not the rule.  At least it feels that way.  So yeah....just waiting on the witch to arrive.  I hope my Clomid arrives in time for me to use it.  It's sitting in customs in NYC at the moment.  This mornings stupid BFN's.....       *Update* I got some sleep finally, and woke up w...

    Cycle #10 ~ CD 11

    Well here we are in November.  I’m very conflicted right now because I’m just to that point where I don’t know what else to do to get pregnant.  I’ve done everything that’s within my power.  Part of me wants to just throw my hands up and give up.  I’m almost 40.  DH is 47.  My girls are 14 and 15.  Maybe it’s just too late.  I have to be okay with the possibility of not having a baby.  And I’m so not okay with that, but I don’t know what else to do. As the holidays creep closer and the anniversary of Jackson’s birth/death nears, I just feel this heaviness, this weight that I can’t seem to shake and the closer it gets, the more anxious I feel.  I don’t understand why this happened to me.  I so badly want to just erase it and start again.  I want my son.  And that, I cannot have.  At least not in this life. AF was four days long, fairly heavy.  Then there was four days of spotting.  I am not temping this cycle...
